Software Development Engineer

Location: Remote, right to work and travel in Europe. At Albatross, we're building the second pillar of AI: a perception layer that understands how users actually experience content, in real time. Trained on live user interactions, Albatross learns and reasons on the fly. Our technology powers real-time, in-session discovery by adapting to evolving user interests, in real-time. We have raised significant funding and our platform already operates at scale, with billions of events being processed and hundreds of millions of predictions served. The Role This position offers high autonomy and involvement in new, partially greenfield projects within a fast-evolving environment. More specifically: Develop and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript and React, following best practices end-to-end Design, build and maintain web infrastructure. Which includes internal tooling and admin panels as well as tenant space, demos, and product integrations Collaborate across teams to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure components Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through modern development standards Support deployment pipelines and contribute to DevOps processes Requirements Proven experience building and deploying complete applications from concept to production Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with experience building production-grade apps including frontend Hands-on experience with React and modern Node.js runtimes (e.g., Bun) Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub actions), cloud platforms, and containerization (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker) Solid understanding of software development best practices, testing, and code quality Effective communication and collaboration skills in English Benefits Flexibility to work from anywhere across Europe
