Internship - Software Engineer - Platform Modernization

Salary: CHF 55'000 - 75'000 per year

Requirements:

• Masters student in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Knowledge of Angular or modern frontend frameworks
• Interest in full-stack development and user experience
• Understanding of Java-based applications is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate

Responsibilities:

• Modernize an existing administration platform by migrating it from AngularJS to Angular and from WildFly to Quarkus, while extending its functionality to provide greater autonomy to operational teams
• Analyze the current application architecture and existing business workflows
• Migrate frontend components from AngularJS to Angular
• Migrate backend components from WildFly to Quarkus
• Develop backend integrations and APIs where required
• Design and implement new administration and parameterization features based on access rights
• Implement a context-based split per application source
• Improve usability and user experience for operational teams
• Ensure application quality through automated testing and code reviews
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Operations teams, and Business Analysts
