Senior QA Specialist, Quality Systems 80-100% (f/m/d)

Location: the actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior QA Specialist (f/m/d) Quality Systems for our biggest site in Switzerland, in Visp. In this role you are responsible for supporting the oversight of the quality management system and will interact with many different business functions.

What you will do:

• Generating and maintaining accurate reports of compliance activities and documents, including trending of key quality indicators, e.g for non-conformities, CAPAs, changes, training status, among others. 

• Supporting implementation of corporate documents at local level. 

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure harmonization throughout the site on QMS related topics. 

• Identifying and managing projects that focus on QMS needs, as required at Lonza Visp Site. 

• Active participation in audits and inspections as well as follow-ups. 

• Performing other duties as assigned. 

What we are looking for:

• Academic degree in Chemistry/ Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the GMP environment and the manufacture of "Drug Products" is required
• Customer complaint management experience as well as Quality Council preparation experience are a must
• Quality escalation management and deviation trending management
• High communication skills combined with assertiveness
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is essential; German skills are an advantage
• Structured, self-responsible, and precise working style.
