AI Engineer

Uliasti is a Zürich-based technology consulting firm and software studio, active since 2015 and an official Anthropic Claude partner. We build AI agents, assistants and LLM integrations, data platforms and custom software for Swiss businesses in regulated and demanding industries: banks and fintechs, insurers, cantons and public administration, notaries, fiduciaries, MedTech, manufacturing and e-commerce. We are a small, focused team based at Hardturmstrasse 161 in Zürich, with colleagues distributed across several cities and countries. We don't hire often, and we take hiring seriously.

What you will do

• Design and build production-grade AI systems: agents, copilots and LLM integrations with guardrails, audit trails and human approval steps
• Take projects from assessment and prototype through to production: hardening, testing, documentation and monitoring
• Integrate AI into existing business systems and legacy landscapes (ERP, CRM, ITSM, banking platforms) rather than replacing them
• Build the data foundations behind it: pipelines, integrations and APIs
• Work directly with clients, from first assessment to running systems, as a partner rather than a vendor
• Contribute to our own products, including Advanzo, Techify and chat.uliasti.com

What you bring

• Solid software engineering background across backend and infrastructure, and the habit of building software as if you will maintain it for years
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based applications to production, ideally with Claude or comparable models
• Comfort with data engineering: pipelines, integrations, data models
• Security and compliance awareness: privacy by default, access controls, Swiss/EU data residency
• Self-management and ownership; you make decisions close to the work and communicate clearly in writing
• German and English; you work with Swiss clients
• Based in or near Zürich, or willing to be here regularly
