At Sonar, we’re enabling enterprises to build agentic software factories that can move quickly while maintaining the control, consistency and evidence required to ship with confidence. Position description Operating within the Data & Insights team, your mission is to decode customer behaviors and transform product engagement into high-impact, actionable intelligence. By bridging the gap between product adoption and commercial data, you will construct a holistic view of user health and the tangible value we provide. You will take full ownership of the product-usage analytics lifecycle. This involves hands-on data exploration, hypothesis testing, and deep collaboration with Data and Analytics Engineers to architect the foundational models you require. Success is defined by analytical rigor and your ability to steer strategic product and Go-to-Market (GTM) decisions. Embedded in our central Data & Insights department, this role serves as a strategic partner to our Product organisation, driving cross-functional synergy with other departments, engineering, and data science teams to maximize overall success. Success depends on genuinely understanding the product you're analyzing, not just the data behind it. What you will do Understand product usage. Work closely with product managers (PMs), building a deep understanding of the product itself, to analyze how customers adopt and use it, and identify patterns in engagement, feature usage, and retention.to Analyze how customers adopt and use the product, and identify patterns in engagement, feature usage, and retention. Connect usage to outcomes. Link product usage data to customer and sales data to reveal how usage relates to expansion, churn risk, and account health. Define usage-based signals. Build the logic behind usage scoring, health indicators, and other metrics that translate behavior into insights that drive activation, retention, and expansion. Be proactive. Explore product, sales, and customer data to surface findings nobody asked for. Anticipate the next question. Run experiments and validate. Test which usage signals actually predict outcomes, applying sound statistical methods and being honest about significance and causality. Partner on the data foundation. Work with Data and Analytics Engineers to get product and sales data into the warehouse and modeled well. Define requirements and contribute to data models that connect product usage with customer and sales data. Tell the story. Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders across the business, and document context, caveats, and decisions so the work survives handoffs. Experience and qualifications Deep product understanding and a track record of working effectively with PMs, translating product knowledge and usage data into decisions they act on. Strong analytical track record: someone who has measurably influenced revenue, product, or GTM decisions through analysis, not just produced reports. Comfort with the latest AI tools, and a habit of using them to work faster and sharper: You stay current as the tooling evolves and bring new approaches to the team. Eagerness to develop: you actively grow your skills, seek feedback, and treat new tools and methods as opportunities rather than threats. Solid SQL. You can independently query, join, and explore data without waiting for someone to prepare it for you. Proficiency in Python for analysis, modeling, and automation. Experience with ML and statistical libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, statsmodels) for modeling, prediction, and inference. Statistical foundation: experimentation, significance testing, regression, segmentation, forecasting, and the judgment to know which applies. Working knowledge of how product usage connects to revenue: funnels, cohorts, retention, account health, and the realities of joining product usage data with CRM and sales data. Willingness to get hands-on with data modeling. You don't need to be a dbt expert, but you must be comfortable exploring messy data and partnering on (or building) the models you need rather than waiting for clean tables. Strong communication and stakeholder skills: you can challenge weak measurement respectfully and make a recommendation, not just present options. Proactivity and autonomy: you raise your hand early, plan your own work, and look for impact without being asked. In-office culture We're intentional about this. We believe the best teams are built in the room together. Three anchor days — Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays — create the collaboration rhythm that makes a hub office worth having. Senior Data Scientist, Product
RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile. We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue. We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance. This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading. The role We are looking for a Senior Product Data Scientist who is deeply product-minded and highly proactive. This is not a role for someone who waits for perfectly defined questions or works in isolation. We are looking for someone who actively looks at our data, understands our customers’ pain points, identifies opportunities, and pushes ideas forward. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to shape what we build, why we build it, and how we measure success. Your work will directly power customer-facing features such as LTV prediction, experimentation and statistical significance, benchmarking, and entirely new data-driven products we have not built yet. You will be expected to bring ideas to the table, backed by analysis and clear hypotheses, and to influence product direction through data. Our data stack includes a Python backend, PostgreSQL production databases, Snowflake, dbt, and AWS. What you will do Proactively explore RevenueCat’s data to identify customer problems, opportunities, and product bets. Translate ambiguous product and business problems and questions into clear analyses, models, and recommendations. Partner with Product Managers to shape roadmaps, not just execute on them. Design, build, and ship production-grade predictive and descriptive models that power customer-facing features. Define and evaluate statistical approaches for experimentation, benchmarking, and forecasting. Communicate insights clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences, with a focus on customer impact. Continuously iterate on shipped models and features based on real-world usage and feedback. This role has real ownership. You will not just support decisions, you will help drive them. About you You are a Senior Data Scientist who cares deeply about impact and product outcomes. From a skills perspective, you bring: 5+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist. Strong SQL skills and comfort with data modeling. Experience building and deploying predictive and descriptive models in production. Experience writing or collaborating on production-ready Python code. A solid understanding of statistics and experimentation, ideally including Bayesian approaches. The ability to clearly explain complex ideas and results to broad audiences. You recognize yourself in several of these: You are highly proactive and opinionated, and you are comfortable pushing ideas forward. You enjoy working with messy, real-world data and imperfect information. You care more about creating customer value than academic elegance. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists. You enjoy working closely with Product teams and influencing decisions. You are excited by the consumer subscription ecosystem and curious about how developers make money. What success looks like In the first month, you'll: Understand our data models. Get to know the team. Ramp up on the ongoing data feature work. Implement and ship your first project. Within the first 3 months, you'll: Meaningfully contribute to shipping a data feature to thousands of developers. Learn the basics of incident response, and be part of the on-call rotation. Work with our Product, Analytics and Engineering teams to improve our data pipelines for data science features. Launch your own explorations into our data to fulfill your own curiosity. Within the first 6 months, you'll: Own one or more core data-powered features end to end. Influence the data feature roadmap with clear, data-backed proposals. Be a go-to partner for product teams on data-driven decision making. Within the first 12 months, you'll: Propose and lead entirely new data-driven product initiatives. Push the boundaries of how RevenueCat uses data to help developers grow revenue. Help shape how data science operates at RevenueCat as the function grows. What we offer: Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator 10-year window to exercise vested equity options A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually Paid desk at a co-working space Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend Interviewing at RevenueCat Our interview process is rigorous on purpose. We want to be sure that everyone we bring on is genuinely excited about this work, aligned with how we operate, and ready to meet our high bar for performance. Curious what that actually looks like? We're building a more proactive data function, and this role is its deep-investigation engine. You'll take ambiguous, high-stakes questions about user behaviour and customer experience and follow them wherever the data leads, across acquisition, activation, usage and the wider customer journey. You'll work hands-on and independently, partnering with Product Managers, engineering managers and commercial teams, and working alongside a VP of Growth who will set the function's direction and build the team. Your findings will inform experiments, the roadmap and company strategy. What you'll do Go looking for what nobody asked about. This is the heart of the role. You'll notice when something looks off in a funnel, a cohort or a metric, disappear into it, and come back with a product issue, a cost leak or an opportunity nobody was looking for. You set much of your own agenda, and you don't wait for a request to start digging. Lead deep investigations into user behaviour and customer experience across product and non-product touchpoints, including support, customer success and sales. Find where activation breaks. Identify failure points in the user journey, including those that could become productised capabilities. Understand acquisition and intent. Dig into acquisition channels, user use cases and what people are actually trying to achieve. Do rigorous causal and statistical work. Go beyond correlation with regression, causal analysis and well-designed experiments, and be clear about what the evidence does and doesn't support. Build models that drive action. Apply data science to real business problems, such as churn modelling that can trigger real-time product action, and explain clearly how models are applied and what impact they have. Analyse unstructured and AI-specific data. Work with agent-user conversations, context layers and evaluation systems alongside structured product data. Size opportunities. Produce market opportunity sizing that helps the business prioritise. Measure how we build. Partner with engineering managers on organisational productivity metrics. Communicate for impact. Translate findings into clear recommendations for product teams, management and executives. What we're looking for Must-haves Deep product analytics experience across growth and broader product areas, with a record of investigations that changed decisions. Data science and modelling experience, and the ability to explain how you applied it and what business impact it had. Strong grounding in correlation, regression and causal analysis. A proactive approach. You surface insights and shape the agenda rather than working to a brief. Genuine curiosity. You notice what looks off and dig until you understand why. Clear communication with management and executives about business impact, simplifying complex analysis into actionable recommendations. Preferred Experience with unstructured data. Experience at an AI-native company, or with the added data complexity AI products bring. Understanding of subscription businesses. Understanding of the PLG motions in a B2B space. Bonus points if you've… Worked on multi-product platforms where upsells, cross-sells and bundling were a key revenue driver. Worked alongside qualitative research, connecting the what (data) with the why (qual). Done pricing and packaging work: willingness-to-pay, price testing, bundle performance. How we work We optimise for responsibility and freedom. No ticket conveyor belt. We run on ownership and a small number of high-impact projects. Close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Growth and commercial teams to ship real outcomes. A bias toward pragmatic solutions that get used, measured and improved. Why join Do the hardest, most interesting analytical work in the company, with direct line of sight to product and strategy decisions. Work across structured and unstructured data, customer conversations and AI evaluation, at the intersection of product usage, AI and revenue. Independence and impact at principal level, without the management overhead.

How Techify works
Title, location, salary and a few tags. Pay once and the job is live for 60 days, no account needed.
Candidates apply with their saved CV straight from the job page. You get the application in your inbox and in your dashboard.
Ranges in CHF whenever the employer publishes them, on the card and in the share image, so nobody wastes a first call.
Listings posted here and the public feeds we collect every night land in one list, deduplicated and filtered to tech roles.
Every link opens the live list filtered for you.
Good to know
Zurich has by far the most openings, followed by Geneva, Basel, Bern, Lausanne and Zug. Remote roles open to people living in Switzerland are listed as well, and you can filter the list by city from the search bar or the links above.
Whenever the employer publishes a range, it is shown on the job card, on the job page and in the share image, always in Swiss francs. Many Swiss employers still do not publish salaries, so not every listing has one.
Employers post jobs directly on Techify. In addition, every night Techify collects tech roles from public job feeds such as SwissDevJobs, Jobicy and Remotive, removes duplicates and keeps only technology positions. Each imported job links back to the original posting.
Citizens of EU and EFTA countries can work in Switzerland under the free movement agreement and register for a permit after arrival. Candidates from other countries need an employer-sponsored permit, which Swiss companies obtain for specialists under annual quotas. Check the posting or ask the employer whether they sponsor permits.
Jobs posted on Techify offer Easy Apply: sign in, attach your CV once and apply with one tap. Jobs collected from other feeds take you to the original posting, where you apply directly with the employer.
A listing is a single payment with no subscription and stays live for 60 days. You do not need an account to post; the exact price is shown on the posting page before you pay.
